I am quite new to hardware, so it is possible I am just missing something obvious.
I am trying to follow the https://docs.creatordev.io/clicker/guides/working-with-contiki/ to get the 6LoWPAN clicker working.
I started with the led flash program, it seemed to build ok and I flashed the hex file with pickle from the Ci40 board and that appeared to work as well. But the clicker's LEDs did not flash. I though maybe the LEDs where maybe bad so I moved onto the UDP server/client system and again the build and flashing seemed to work to my novice eyes. However the server received no data.
In the LetMeCreateIoT lib I found the test program and decided to build and attempt to flash that which still did the same thing, I also did the same with the second clicker incase it was a dead board but achieved the same results.
The hex's where built on a ubuntu VM running on a windows host (not the CreatorVM)
The Ci40 is powered over usb and was being controlled via, PuTTY on windows using serial.
The Ci40s OS is CreatorCi40-v1.0.1-1
I tried using pickle with the boards only being powered by the jumper leads and with external usb power.
The flash of the test program:
